How we chose: I looked for personalised Christmas gifts from small UK makers on Not On The High Street, favouring well-reviewed listings with clear personalisation options, sizes and materials. On 26 October 2026 I opened every listing to check it was available to order and read the maker's description; I left out two star-map prints that were showing as out of stock. The Etsy links go to Etsy's own category pages for similar items, because individual Etsy listings change quickly. I don't show prices, and I haven't bought these gifts myself. Each maker on Not On The High Street and Etsy sets its own last order date for Christmas delivery, shown on the listing. Personalised items are made to order, so allow at least one to two weeks, and longer for embroidery and framing. Ordering by late November is the safest bet.
Makers print or engrave exactly what you type, including capital letters and apostrophes. Check spelling and dates twice, and check character limits: some names won't fit.
